Acts Resources

The Book of Acts tells the powerful story of how the early church was born and spread after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. It begins with Jesus commissioning His disciples to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Acts recounts the apostles’ bold preaching, the church's miraculous growth, and how the Gospel broke through ethnic and cultural barriers to reach both Jews and Gentiles. It highlights key figures like Peter and Paul and their challenges—persecution, imprisonment, and opposition—while demonstrating God’s unstoppable power to advance His kingdom through the Church. Acts is a dynamic testament to the Holy Spirit's work and the Church's mission to make Jesus known in every corner of the world.

The Power of Scripture

Reading Scripture is one of the most transformative disciplines we have as believers. Each time we open God’s Word, we are invited into a fresh encounter with Him—learning more about His heart, His redemptive plan, and our calling as His people. As we journey through the Book of Acts, we witness the radical faith of the early Church, fueled by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we are challenged to embody that same courage and mission in our lives today. Acts provides us with a roadmap for bold, Spirit-led living. With 28 chapters, we've structured a 10-week reading plan with a weekly memory verse, five focused readings, and two days for rest or catch-up. Together, we’ll walk through the incredible story of how God’s unstoppable mission to make Jesus known began—and continues through us.
